Vintage Craven A Virginia Cigarette Red Empty Hinged Tin

A genuine vintage Craven A Virginia cigarette tin which is hinged.  It says inside the tin "made specially to prevent sore throats"..  These tins originally date back to the 1930s and are still used today, albeit for pens, pencils or any stationery.

The tin measures 14.5cm x 10.5cm x 2cm approx when closed.

As you can see the tin is not in the best condition, and is scratched and marked all over, as can be seen clearly in the photographs.  However, it is a genuine item and has been enjoyed and used for many years.  The hinge is a little loose.  It does have marks all over the tin but I think that makes it more interesting.
