An interesting old Inland Revenue legacy receipt forwarded by Verrall Solicitors in Worthing, West Sussex. Folio number 3021. It is a double sided single piece of paper with an orange stamp on the bottom left corner.
It is dated 12 November 1885.
It measures 34cm x 21cm approx when flat.
It is still in good condition bearing in mind it is over 125 years old. It does have a frayed edge on one side. Note that it has been folded up so there are 3 main folds. Please study the photographs carefully as these are part of the description.
