Edwardian Solid Silver Vesta Case Matches Inside, Birmingham 1905

A delightful Edwardian solid silver Vesta case which is cushion shaped with a floral decoration throughout.  There is a double beaded edge.  There is a fancy empty cartouche in the centre on the front.  It can be engraved with initials or a date. The serrated match striker is in good order.  The hallmark is inside by the hinge.  There are little matches inside.

It measures 3.5cm x 3cm x 0.5cm when closed.

It has a full British hallmark for Birmingham 1905.

The maker is T.H. (probably T Heatley).

It weighs 12.6gms (0.4 troy ounce).

The condition is excellent.  There is a small mark on the side towards the bottom edge but other than that is excellent.  Please see all of the photographs.
