Edwardian Solid Silver Vesta Case with Engraving, Birmingham 1904
A superb Edwardian solid sterling silver Vesta case embossed on both sides with a floral pattern. The Vesta has initials in the right corner on the front. It has the serrated match striker underneath. There is a jump ring on the top so it can be fitted through a chain. It has a rounded edge and hinge.
It measures 4.5cm x 3cm x 0.6cm when closed.
It has a full hallmark for Birmingham 1904.
The maker mark is S & BM. (Smith & Bartlam).
It weighs 20gms (0.6 troy ounce).
The condition is very good. There is a small dent on one of the side corners but otherwise it is really good quality. The hinge opens and closes well, although it is a little bit slow on closing so there is a bit of a tiny gap.
Please do study all of the photographs as they show condition very well.
