Edwardian Solid Silver Vesta Case Leaf and Wavy, Birmingham 1905

A very detailed Ewardian solid Vesta case in sterling silver with leaf and wavy patterns on both sides.  There is an empty shield shaped cartouche in the centre which has space for an engraving.  It has a pointed edge and hinge.  There is a match striker underneath.  A jump ring has been fitted so it can be worn on a chain.

It measures 4.5cm x 3.3cm x 0.7cm.

It has a full British hallmark on the inside for Birmingham 1905.

The maker is worn but possibly IT & S.

It weighs 18.6gms (0.5 troy ounce).

The condition of this Vesta case is very good.  There is a very small mark on the cartouche which can possibly be removed.  A few age related markings but overall it is a very nice example.
