An antique presentation pocket watch display box by the reputable J.W. Benson. It has a patterned exterior and a velvet and silk interior. It has a cloth hinge and a fitting at the front of the box which clicks shut. It has a universal section so can fit a pocket watch or medal or other jewellery.
The box measures 13.5cm x 9.5cm x 1.7cm.
The outside of the box needs some attention as some of the cover has come away. A good restoration project perhaps! It closes firmly but there is a tiny gap and a bit of movement. However, it is still a nice example. The interior is very good.
