A Little Book of The Poetical Works of William Cowper, dated 1837

This is a wonderful little book of the Poetical Works of William Cowper, volume 1. It is published by Allan Bell & Co, Warwick Square, T Tegg & Son and H Washbourne.  It has 339 pages in total and there is a light gilt around the edges of the pages.  The cover is burgundy with a fancy gold coloured central motif on both sides.

There is a handwritten inscription inside which is dated Feb 15th 1843.

The book is dated 1837.

It measures 10cm by 6cm.

The condition inside is very good.  All of the pages are still in the binding.  The outer cover has a tear which can be seen in the photographs.  The corners are a little scruffy too, however for the age of the book, it is a great example.  Any questions please email.
